After you fill out our contact form, you’ll receive an email inviting you to book a Zoom call. We’ll meet, get to know each other, you’ll share your vision, and I’ll help you decide which package will best serve your wants and needs.

You’ll receive a proposal, contract, and initial retainer. Once that’s all signed, sealed, and paid, your date is officially secured, and it’s time to start making some magic!

Between now and your wedding, I’ll send you a ton of helpful guides, resources, and vendor recommendations. Together, we’ll plan an ideal wedding timeline so that you’re not rushed or stressed on the day of. If you chose a collection with an engagement session, we’ll get that on the calendar.
Our story doesn’t begin and end with your wedding! Engagement sessions are an incredible way to not only get comfortable in front of the camera but to showcase a different side of your story. Plus, you can use the photos for your save the dates and invites.
Congrats! It’s your wedding day! Thanks to all of the planning and prep we did, you can simply relax and be present while we do our thing. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Within 24 hours you’ll get some sneak peeks (because waiting is hard). Then, within 4 weeks, you’ll get your online gallery with full print and download rights. Pro tip: Plan a date night with your spouse to look through your photos. Make sure the Kleenex are close—you’re going to need them!

Of course! Iowa wedding packages include travel. We take on Destination weddings, but a limited number each year so be sure to reach out and see if we're available.
Custom quotes can be given for weddings taking place outside of Iowa.

Yes, packages include engagement sessions. We feel strongly that engagement sessions are a perfect way to get to know each other before the wedding day. Also, you'll get a feel for being in front of the camera. You'll get a small taste of how the wedding day will go and be put at ease knowing exactly what to expect.

If Alex is unavailable on your date or you're on a tighter budget, the AMP team has got you covered. Team weddings are available so that more couples can experience a seamless, comfortable and warm experience on the day they wed. The team handles the photographing the engagement and the wedding day and Alex handles all the rest (such as editing, timeline planning and more).

Most couples book their venue first and the photographer second, because of this, on average couples book 12-18 months out from their wedding date. So be sure to reach out to see if your date is available.
